a few reasons:
- Connection issues with an iLok USB,
- Running Babelson installers while your DAW is open,
- Your license is not activated to a valid location,
- Check and make sure your plug-ins are installed to the default location, and that your DAW's plug-in path is set to scan that location.
- See if your plug-ins are activated properly.
- Install the latest version of the iLok License Manager.
- Install the latest version of your DAW
- VST3 : C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3
- AAX: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins
- AU: Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
- AAX: Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/
- VST3: Macintosh HD/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/
Windows:
- Close Studio One.
- Press Windows key plus R.
- Enter “C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\PreSonus\Studio One 4\x64\” (without the quotes), and click on OK.
- Manually delete the PluginBlacklist.settings file (to delete the blacklist).
- Manually delete the PlugInScanner.log file (to force a complete new plug-ins scan).
- Re-open Studio One.
- Close Studio One.
- Using macOS Finder go to “~/Library/Application Support/PreSonus Software/Studio One 4/x64/” (without the quotes).
- Manually delete the PluginBlacklist.settings file (to delete the blacklist).
- Manually delete the PlugInScanner.log file (to force a complete new plug-ins scan).
- Re-open Studio One.
